Overview of Correlative Times for ISTP

M Peredo

The International Solar-Terrestrial Physics (ISTP) program is now providing simultaneous coordinated scientific observations throughout all key regions of geospace. Particular emphasis is being placed on understanding the solar wind-magnetosphere-ionosphere system in a global context, and thus spacecraft measurements, ground-based observations and theoretical tools are all key elements of this science initiative. A wide range of collaborative studies are readily underway, some established on an individual basis, while others are being coordinated under the auspices of international science campaigns such as those identified by the Inter Agency Consultative Group (IACG) or via the "ISTP Event" identification process. In this communication, we present an overview of some of the ongoing correlative studies, and describe how members of the international space physics community may participate in these studies. In addition, computer access to the ISTP key Parameter database, available on-line via the Internet, will be provided to illustrate the breath and scope of resources available for correlative analyses.
