The First IACG Campaign

The title of the first campaign is Magnetotail Energy Flow and the Role of Non-Linear Dynamics. A workshop held at Airlie House, Virginia, USA in June 1992, defined two over-arching research themes for this first IACG campaign. As defined in the 1st Campaign Report, 1992, the first theme is to determine the structure of the global magnetotail system; The second is to study the dynamics of the global solar wind/ magnetotail interaction.
